Reminder: Before running the IDS-CSS report and exporting data, please ensure your agency has completed the IDS onboarding steps: Implementation & Onboarding for the IDS-CSS Report

• Client IDs must be unique, numeric only (2–15 characters), and corrected in client dataset(s) as applicable, before running the report and exporting results. 

IDS Submission Reports: Setting your IDS Facility & IDS Institution

Navigate to the user Menu: 

1. Select the Administration menu.
    
2. Select Organization Info → scroll down to IDS Submission Reports.
   
   
    
3. Enter IDS Facility and IDS Institution. These fields populate in the respective reports.
    
4. Select Save.
   
   
    

IDS Submission Report: Community Support Service and Hospital Clinic MDS

Navigate to the global Reports tab: 

1. Select the EMHware Report Suite dropdown.
    
2. Select IDS Reports → Detailed IDS Reports will open. 
    
3. Set Start and End date parameters. 
    
4. Select the IDS Report → IDS Community Support Service and Hospital Clinic MDS.
    
5. Select Run.

6. To export the results, scroll all the way to the right → select the button. 
    
7. When the exported CSV opens in Excel, a conversion pop‑up should display. 
   
   Select Don’t Convert to ensure the leading zeros in columns N (Appointment_Type) = 01) and AB (Record_Type = 01) are retained. If this step is skipped, those values will lose their leading zeros required for IDS submission.
   
   
    
8. The exported CSV can be opened for review, but it must not be edited or re‑saved in Excel. Any save action will cause Excel to reinterpret fields and incorrectly modify date values. Submit the file exactly as originally exported.
    
9. Ensure all values align with IDS specifications, then submit your file following IDS’s documentation.
