Q: How do I print case notes from a client file?
A: Individual case notes can be printed from within the Case Notes tab of a client file or send to the client's attachments by selecting the PDF button.
- Workers with permissions to access the EMHware Support Suite can print case notes in bulk for one or more clients. Navigate to the Reports global tab > EMHware Report Suite dropdown > Case Note Lists > and run the Case Note PrintOut List report.
- As of May 2025, admins can assign a role permission to users as applicable to export case notes and other sections of the file in bulk by date parameters. This feature can be reviewed in the Client File Export article.
Q: Can I edit a locked case note?
A: Yes, a locked case note can be edited by selecting the Addendum button. A case note with addenda cannot be unlocked.

It is possible to add many addenda to the original case note.

Each addendum will have a unique ID number created.

When opening a case not with an addendum, the original case note displays first, then each addendum in order of entry should display.

A: Yes, your agency admins can customize case note types and create case note templates.
