If your agency has specific programs for intake, then you will want to mark those according in the program manager. The referral in Ocean is updated based on when a client start to receive services from an agency. To ensure this is accurate, EMHware does not update the referral in Ocean if a client has gone through intake, but not started to receive services in the program they are assigned too.

When a program is set as being intake the information about first contact will not be updated in Ocean for the referring provider to see.

Select a program in the Program Manager:

1. Click the check box “Ocean Referrals – Is intake”
2. Click “Save”
