feedback directly from frontline clinician
AnsweredI'm sorry I don't have time to scroll through all the posts to see if this feedback has been reported, but I do think feedback directly from clinical staff is most important so I'm simply relaying their feedback here. They also had request for future development, but I will take the time to ensure I understand their request prior to posting. :) Thanks! JJ
Hello,
I wanted to submit some impressions of the new EMHware modernized Dashboard:
Pros:
- I do like the hover over contacts/casenotes/etc feature within the month view. Quite helpful in checking over which client’s contacts you have submitted quickly without having to open the contacts for the whole day.
- The modernized design is nice. The graphics are pleasing to the eye and easy to navigate.
Cons:
- It appears that we can’t view the full total of contacts and time for each week within the month view anymore. I don’t love this change! I prefer to mostly use the month view on the dashboard, and having those hours shown for each week is really helpful to having a quick view to alert you in checking that you’ve got your documentation in.
- The old format uses the whole screen for a month view so you could see it all at once, which I really liked. The new format compacts the month view into a skinnier format that requires scrolling to see the whole month, with a lot of open space on the left hand side of the screen from half way to the bottom. Having a second monthly calendar view on the page at all times, options for viewing the four different categories (contacts, case notes, appointments and case data) as well as options to view different workers doesn’t seem like a good use of screen space to me as a clinician using this. Maybe it’s more useful for other users (non-clinicians)? For my purposes as a clinician user, I would want all the content on the left hand side to be consolidated somewhere else (along the top, or top side?) to allow for a full month view on one screen.

Hi Janice,
Thank you for sending feedback from your clinical staff, it has been forwarded to our development team for review.
Regarding the dashboard totals: depending on the view you select (Month, Week, or Day), the totals for that view can be found at the bottom left of the screen. For weekly totals, select Week and view the totals in that area. You can easily navigate to different weeks by using the arrows on the top right, located on either side of the Today button.
Thank you for your continued support and feedback!0
